How To Eat & Store

Step 1 - Check maturity

Leave on the counter until the skin yields gently to pressure.

Step 2 - Enjoy

Cut lengthways, twist open, remove stone, slice or scoop.

Step 3 - Storage

Once ripe refrigerate and consume within 5 days.
To keep it longer, store while still firm in the warmest part of your refrigerator.

Where It Begins

Small organic farms in Andalusia (Spain), one of Europe’s most biodiverse growing regions, where ancient finca soils and Atlantic breezes create conditions that produce avocados of rare depth and richness.

How It's Grown

Grown using regenerative agriculture. Fruit stays on the tree for 9–16 months far beyond commercial standard. No synthetic inputs. No ethylene ripening chambers.

Harvested at the end of the week, transported by truck, carefully wrapped individually for protection, and typically delivered within 3–5 days from harvest.

Avocado Fuerte: the connoisseur’s favorite

Before Hass became the world’s dominant avocado in the 1950s, Fuerte was the variety everyone wanted, prized for its thinner skin, rich flesh, and buttery complexity that made it one of the most beloved early avocado varieties.

Ours comes from small family-run farms in Andalusia, where avocado trees grow in living, regenerative soil and the fruit is left on the branch for up to 16 months, far longer than standard practice, until it reaches its full natural richness.

Carefully harvested at optimal physiological maturity, Fuerte develops a silky texture and a more delicate, nuanced flavor than most modern avocados.

Delicious avocados, but all already sprouting
Fast delivery, attractive from the outside except for a few bruises, but from the inside all seeds have already sprouted into the flesh, not very appetizing, but the taste was not affected. Since it is a natural product & apparently there were optimal conditions for germination, it is completely understandable, but since all avocados in the 5kg delivery were affected, there will be no new order.

I'm
very sorry to read that the seeds of your avocados have already sprouted. Normally, this does not affect the quality or taste of the fruit. Nevertheless, I can understand that this is not particularly appetizing when cut open. I am all the more pleased that the taste was not affected by this.

As a small explanation, I would like to add that this type of avocado is currently at the very end of its season. Every year, we are pleased to be able to offer it for as long as possible because the taste is simply unbelievably good and develops a particularly creamy consistency. In return, the fruits stay on the tree for a very long time so that they can develop their full aroma. Unfortunately, towards the end of the season, it can occasionally happen that the seeds start to germinate. It is rather unusual that all avocados were affected when you delivered them
.
As a small gesture, I have added 5€ credit to your customer account. I really hope that you still give our avocados another chance. You could charge this for another order. I haven't seen any such feedback with our Hass avocados so far. If you want to try them out, they might be more convincing to you.

Excellent avocados!!!
Avocado Fuerte is a very delicious, creamy fruit that melts in your mouth.
