Flawless avocados, great taste, great consistency.
— Peter

Hass avocado is famous for its creamy texture, but only when allowed to stay long enough on the tree to develop its full richness.

The secret to a great avocado is patience. Our growers leave the fruit longer on the tree, where it develops the oils responsible for its rich flavor, buttery texture, and nutty taste.

Naturally rich in fibre, potassium, and healthy fats, avocado is one of the most nourishing and versatile fruits in the world.

How To Eat & Store

Step 1 - Check Ripeness

Gently squeeze the avocados. If they feel slightly soft, they're ready to eat.
Leave firm fruit at room temperature to ripen.

Open

Origin & Sourcing

Where It Begins

Grown on the Costa Tropical of Málaga and Granada, one of the few places in Europe where avocados thrive naturally, developing a rich texture and remarkable flavor.

How It's Grown

From small-scale producers. Harvested at full physiological maturity, allowing flavour and nutrient content to fully develop before picking.

Avocados don't ripen while they're still on the tree. So they're picked when they're still firm, and only then do they start to soften.

How It Reaches You

Shipped by road 🚛 from Spain. May arrive firm: will ripen naturally at room temperature within 3–7 days.

Description

Why Hass became the world's favorite avocado

In 1926, a California postman named Rudolf Hass discovered a unique avocado tree growing in his garden. The fruit was unlike anything people had tasted before: rich, creamy, nutty, and naturally high in healthy oils.

Nearly a century later, Hass remains the world's most popular avocado variety. Its thick skin protects the fruit naturally, while its small seed leaves more creamy flesh to enjoy. When harvested at the right moment, Hass develops the buttery texture and rich flavor that made it famous in the first place.

Naturally rich in fibre, potassium, and healthy fats, avocado has become a staple of Mediterranean, paleo, keto, and plant-based diets alike. Few fruits are as nourishing, versatile, and satisfying.

The secret to a truly great Hass avocado

Most avocados are harvested as early as possible to simplify storage and transport. The result is often an avocado that ripens unevenly, with watery flesh and little flavor.

Our growers do the opposite.

Working with small farms in southern Spain, they leave their Hass avocados on the tree for much longer, allowing them to continue accumulating oils and developing flavor naturally. The trees produce fewer fruits, but each avocado becomes richer, creamier, and more satisfying.

The difference is easy to taste. Instead of a watery avocado with grassy notes, you get dense buttery flesh, a smooth texture, and the nutty flavor Hass is famous for.

Better for the fruit. Better for the farmer. Better for your toast.

    Avocado Hass

    A wonderful fruit, top quality.

Chosen for breakfast as it is easy to use on the bread surface. Hmmm, and with egg addition once.

The medical effect is still being tested.

    Nice lunch

With the current temperatures of just under 40°C, this is the ideal meal. Does not lie heavily in the stomach and feed. I really like to eat Hass, but I prefer Bacon and Fuerte in terms of taste.

I found them to be a bit firm so I let them ripen a bit.
