I was expecting more interesting fruit. There were 3 fat things, type unknown. Two were the same kind and super soft and creamy. The other was hard as steel. Had to ripen for a very long time. Definitely better than in the store, but they certainly weren't wild avocados. So a bit disappointing.

Auch wenn sie manchmal anders aussehen oder reifen als die bekannten Mexicola (falls du danach gesucht hast), sind es trotzdem wilde Avocados mit vollem Geschmack. Wir hoffen, dass du bei der nächsten Lieferung vielleicht eine Sorte dabei hast, die dir noch besser gefällt!

Like others, I did not receive avocados that looked like the original picture for this product listing, however Jurassic Fruit support confirmed they are neither Bacon, Fuerte, or any other known, named variety and they have updated the product picture to better match the actual variety that was shipped, also noting that the variety can change from week to week.
This avocado is large, stays green when ripe, has thin but bitter skin (I would not eat it). The flesh was 100% perfect in all the avocados, really high quality, not a single blemish in all the 9 avocados I received. The taste was mild and sweet, resembling Bacon avocados, but with a hint of walnuts. The seeds are fairly big, but the flesh-to-seed ratio is still very good.
Even though it is not exactly what I expected, I am still happy to have tasted this and I will happily buy it again.

The avocados received do not correspond to the photo at all and are of the same variety, Fuerte type only smaller.
I am not the only one who has read the comments that have been fooled about what type of lawyer I am looking for.
I strongly do not recommend this product.

Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas prévoir quelles variétés le producteur pourra récolter chaque semaine. Certaines fruits ressemblent à la Mexicola, mais n’en sont pas. La plupart ont plutôt l’aspect de nos photos, avec une peau verte et fine et un gros noyau, mais leur chair reste très savoureuse. Nous faisons de notre mieux pour respecter les variétés et avons adapté les photos du produit.

Disappointed, because I expected several varieties and sizes as in the presentation photo.
I received... 3 kg of bacon...
At 300g each, it's tough for wild...
Don't expect to eat mexicola...
However, the avocados received are very good.
