The most delicious fruit known to men according to Mark Twain... the “deliciousness itself".

Blueberry yoghurt meets vanilla custard as you scoop the silky white flesh and wonder why you waited so long.

Source of vitamin B6 which contributes to normal energy metabolism and nervous system function.

Grown in living Andalusian soil without synthetic chemicals.

Chirimoya belongs to the Annona family, a lineage of tropical plants that dates back millions of years.

How To Eat & Store

Ripen at Room Temperature

Leave on the counter until the fruit feels slightly soft when pressed with your thumb.

Halve and Scoop

Cut in half and eat the white flesh with a spoon, simply spit out the seeds.

Refrigerate once ripe

If done as the chirimoyas are hard the cold could stop the ripening permanently.
Once ripe, enjoy within 2–3 days.

When it arrives, this is normal

ℹ️ Firm on arrival: needs 1–3 days at room temperature to ripen
ℹ️ Browning or blackening skin: completely normal as it softens, flesh stays white

Taste Profile

A ripe Chirimoya is juicy, floral and creamy. People often compare its flavour to pear, mango, pineapple raspberry yogurt and vanilla custard. But honestly, none of these comparisons fully capture it. Chirimoya has its own personality: delicate, tropical and intensely aromatic.

Description

Chirimoya: one of the creamiest fruits in the world

Soft, creamy, fragrant and intensely comforting, Chirimoya is one of those fruits that completely changes your idea of what fruit can taste like.

Mark Twain called it “the most delicious fruit known to man.”. After one spoonful, you’ll understand why.

Native to the Andes and now thriving on the southern coast of Spain, Chirimoya (also known as Cherimoya) belongs to the Annona family. Its texture is smooth like custard, while its flavour combines notes of banana, pear, vanilla and tropical berries.

It’s sweet, rich and deeply satisfying — almost like a natural dessert.

Our growers work without synthetic inputs, harvesting at full physiological maturity so the custard-like flesh reaches you at its natural peak.

Source of vitamin B6, a nutrient that supports mood regulation, brain function, and sustained energy chirimoya nourishes as gently and completely as it delights. Its creamy texture makes it one of the few fruits genuinely satisfying enough to replace dessert.

Ripen gently at home over 1–3 days. Then scoop and savour.

    The best cherimoyas!

These were the best cherimoyas in years and were very close to the taste of the fruits I know from the Andes.

    new discovery

Bought it many times in the supermarket, but I have never experienced that it can be so juicy and aromatic. From now on, only directly from the farmer.

By the way, the quality of the fruit was without complaint.

The taste of chirimoyas is very good, but they have a lot of seeds. I still really like them.
