I can't stop eating when I have lychees, they are so pleasant to taste.
Sabine K. (DE)

One of Asia's most iconic fruits, lychee has captivated fruit lovers for centuries with its fragrance and delicate sweetness.

Floral sweetness in every bite, with juicy translucent flesh and notes of rose, pear, and tropical fruit.

Naturally rich in vitamin C, lychee combines remarkable flavor with valuable nutrients.

Delivered just days after harvest, with no sulfur treatment or artificial color preservation.

How To Eat & Store

How to Eat

Press gently into the rough skin and peel it away.
Enjoy the translucent flesh fresh and discard the glossy brown seed.

Storage

Refrigerate on arrival · Keeps maximum 5 days in a dry cold ventilated place.

When it arrives, this is normal

ℹ️ Lychee skin can naturally appear brown or uneven in colour because the fruit is not sulphur-treated for visual uniformity. This is a natural characteristic that reflects its quality and authenticity. The flesh inside remains fresh, translucent and aromatic.

Taste Profile

Lychee is intensely aromatic, with a fragrance that fills the air as soon as the shell is opened. The translucent flesh is juicy and refreshing, combining floral notes with hints of rose, grape, pear, and tropical fruit. Sweet without being heavy, it delivers a burst of flavor that explains why lychee has captivated fruit lovers for centuries.

Description

Lychee: the fruit that once traveled by imperial courier

For centuries, lychee was considered such a prized fruit in China that emperors reportedly dispatched special couriers to bring fresh harvests from the south to the imperial court. Even today, few fruits inspire the same level of devotion across Asia.

Part of lychee's appeal is its contrast. The rough red shell hides flesh that is delicate, translucent, and fragrant. The moment you peel one, it's easy to understand why the fruit became famous. Few fruits combine such intense aroma with such a refreshing bite.

Lychee trees can live for hundreds of years, and some historic orchards in China still produce fruit today. The trees grow slowly and require specific conditions, which helps explain why truly good lychees remain a seasonal pleasure rather than an everyday fruit.

One thing many consumers don't realize is that bright red lychees are often treated with sulfur after harvest to preserve their color. We choose not to do that. As a result, the shell may darken naturally during transport and storage. This affects appearance, not flavor. In fact, many experienced lychee lovers consider this a sign that the fruit has been left closer to its natural state.

Peel, chill, and enjoy. Sometimes the simplest fruits are the ones that leave the strongest memories.
