Salak Honey

Salak - very good but at the limit of shelf life

It's one of my favorites. Very good condition for the most part! There were very few rotten people there, which was not visible from the outside for most of them, which probably meant that they could not be sorted out.

It can always happen with fruit! And as I said, most of them were in very good condition!

You can tell from the title that the fruits were delivered just as we ate them freshly picked in Indonesia. Although the fruit doesn't keep very long (a week in the fridge but no problem). So the supply chain is probably working perfectly.

If you don't know the fruit, the consistency of the meat is something in young kohlrabi - early ripe St. Peter's pear. When chewed, the taste develops into gentle/sweet pineapple with vanilla honey aroma.

We love snakeskin fruit.

The fruits were good and ripe. They all made it through the long journey well.

But the taste was -10 for ME.

This fruit is really a matter of taste.

The 4 stars are for the quality of the fruit. The fact that I didn't like them is my problem but the fruits can't do anything.

Very tasty, but you have to eat them in 3 days at the latest, despite the refrigerator.

I just love Salak. That slightly crunchy nutty consistency and that unique taste...

It tasted really interesting. Crunchy with a taste that I've tasted somewhere before but can't attribute

The flesh is relatively hard but has a slight honey flavor
