Friedrich and his daughter Lilli grow avocados, pomegranates, persimmons and many more fruits on more than 50 hectares in southern Spain. Their method fits in one sentence: feed the ground, and the ground feeds the fruit.

A wild garden, full of fruit
Friedrich and Lilli feed their soil with compost and microorganisms, and grow dozens of fruits side by side. Christina and Claire, from our team, went back this October and once again tasted the intensity of fruit grown on living soil.

A jungle of fruit trees near Huelva
Geoffrey, our co-founder, first visited in 2014, when the project was still young. The trees have since grown into a real jungle, and it is one of the most beautiful farms Geoffrey knows.

Feed the ground, and the ground feeds the fruit
They start with what is under the trees. They feed the soil, and the soil feeds the plant, the fruit and the people who eat it. Lilli walked our team through every step of it.
The first permaculture farm of this size in Europe
More than 50 hectares of fruit trees, grown with the principles of permaculture and certified organic and Demeter. We visit a lot of farms, and this is the first one of this size that we know in Europe.
A network of growers who care for their soil
Lilli is now building a network of partner farms on the Costa Tropical, near Granada. Her growers look after their soil and their plants the same way, and their fruit is amazing. Her reason is simple: taking care of the generations to come.
