    No taste

Unfortunately this fruit has no taste compared to the ones I had in Polynesia.

The cherimoyas were unfortunately all inedible. The flesh was dark and somewhat firm, despite good post-ripening conditions.

These cherimoyas just aren't good this time. The skin is too firm, the flesh too, can barely be removed. Very many cores (i.e. Cherimoya has many seeds, but in this case extremely). You are not used to chewing ripe cherimoya, they are usually extremely tender and aromatic. That was also not the bad luck of a single fruit, but probably the type. I bought 3 kg and they are all the same.
