-Verified buyer (EN)

Native to the rainforests of Australia, macadamia is one of the world's most distinctive nuts, prized for its uniquely buttery texture and delicate, naturally sweet flavor.

Raw, unsalted, and gently dried below 45°C to preserve the nut's natural flavor and nutritional qualities. Nothing added.

Naturally rich in fibre, healthy fats, and minerals such as manganese and magnesium, macadamias are both nourishing and remarkably filling.

Sourced from a cooperative of around 7,000 small organic farmers in Kenya, helping support rural livelihoods while encouraging farming practices that work in harmony with nature.

Origin & Sourcing

Where It Begins

Macadamias grow on the sunlit highlands of Kenya, where warm days, volcanic soils and tropical rains create ideal conditions for these exceptional nuts. Originally native to the ancient rainforests of Australia, they develop here an especially rich buttery flavour and delicate crunch.

How it's grown

These macadamias are cultivated by more than 7,000 small farmers working together through a Kenyan cooperative. The orchards are grown without synthetic chemical treatments, and post-harvest handling uses only gentle methods.

After harvest, every batch is carefully cracked and slowly dried below 45°C to preserve flavour and nutrients.

How it reaches you

Once dried, the nuts are packed in vacuum-sealed bags to preserve their freshness, delicate crunch and rich buttery aroma during transport. They are then shipped by sea 🚢 to reduce environmental impact while ensuring optimal conservation all the way to your kitchen.

Description

Macadamia Nuts – The Queen of Nuts

Macadamias are often considered the finest nuts in the world. Their delicate crunch and exceptionally creamy texture make them a favorite among nut lovers seeking a truly premium experience.

Rich in healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, macadamias are as nutritious as they are delicious. To preserve their natural qualities, they are gently dried at low temperatures (around 45°C), helping retain their valuable nutrients and exceptional taste.

These organic macadamias are grown at the foot of Mount Kenya, in fertile volcanic soils and an ideal climate. They are cultivated by around 7,000 smallholder farmers, supporting local communities and ensuring a fair and sustainable production system.

Macadamias are among the world's most premium nuts. Their slow-growing trees, limited yields, extremely hard shells, and labor-intensive harvesting contribute to their price. The combination of exceptional quality, careful processing, and strong social impact makes them a truly premium product.
