Fruit arrived on time and fresh. My children and I really like the flesh of jackfruit. The yield is good. Unfortunately, we don't cook the rest and the seeds. We only eat the fruit bag raw.
Ratio of flesh and remaining fruit approx. 1:3, therefore very expensive for us.

Wir können deine Überlegungen zum Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut verstehen. Die Jackfruit ist tatsächlich eine sehr voluminöse Frucht mit einem hohen Anteil an Schale und Kernen. Viele unserer Kunden nutzen aber gerade diese „Nebenprodukte“. Die Kerne lassen sich geröstet wie Nüsse genießen und der Rest eignet sich wunderbar zum Kochen, wie du ja schon erwähnt hast. Das ist natürlich Geschmackssache.

The jackfruit Phet has a very rich taste. Sweet, juicy, also reminiscent of honey and various fully ripe fruits. For me, the taste and smell are incomparable. So far I've never had a fruit that tastes so intense, like so many fruits. It's like eating fruit salad with the best, sweetest, ripest fruit. Once you have removed the pulp, you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a few days without loss of flavor.
