First order of the apple. It's an interesting flavor. Firm flesh like an unripe nectarine. I had to remove a lot of peel and it didn't look like the picture with the big cores

The mammy apple was the size of a small galia melon. Firm flesh and a large, very hard core, like a peach. The flesh tasted refreshingly sour.
