So I received my 4th order of palm hearts today and opened a pack right away. I cut them into pieces, in the pan and add butter, season with broth powder or salt, a bit of milk - done. That's how I love them. It also helps me a lot with weight loss. Down from 140 kg to 90 kg now. Jurassic Fruit generally helps me out very well because I like to eat sweets. And they replace me with fruits such as bananas or salak. By the way, my dog also really likes palm hearts! A small piece cooled off the pan...

I tried a small piece and it tasted like it was a pretty low-quality food. It's like a kind of emergency food from the tropics. :/
But I will definitely order from Jurassic Fruit again and regularly, but no more palm hearts.
Perhaps you should revise the description if necessary, because this product is not of high quality enough, as if air freight transport would pay off for it.
I would not describe the taste as nutty or similar to coconut, but as a simply inferior alternative to coconut.
To be fair, I have no idea how to properly prepare the product to get the most out of it, but I recommend trying coconut instead of a palm heart.

Es tut mir leid zu hören, dass das Palmherz geschmacklich nicht deinen Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Du hast einen wichtigen Punkt gemacht - Palmherzen haben tatsächlich einen sehr eigenen, milden Geschmack und ist nicht für jeden Gaumen geeignet.
Palmherzen werden traditionell oft in Salaten verwendet oder leicht angebraten, um ihre zarte Textur zur Geltung zu bringen. Der Geschmack ist sehr subtil und kann durchaus als "zurückhaltend" empfunden werden, besonders wenn man intensivere Aromen erwartet.
Dein Feedback zur Produktbeschreibung nehmen wir gerne mit auf - es ist wichtig, dass die Erwartungen realistisch gesetzt werden, damit Kunden wissen, worauf sie sich einlassen.
Es freut mich sehr zu hören, dass du trotzdem weiterhin bei uns bestellen möchtest. Vielleicht hast du ja bei anderen exotischen Früchten aus unserem Sortiment mehr Glück - jede Frucht hat wirklich ihren ganz eigenen Charakter.
