How To Eat & Store

Ready when it arrives

Victoria pineapples are harvested ripe and can be enjoyed as soon as they arrive. Unlike fruits such as mangoes or avocados, pineapple does not continue to ripen after harvest, so waiting longer will not make it sweeter.

Remove the crown

Hold the fruit firmly and twist the crown until it comes off. This makes the pineapple easier to peel and cut into slices.

Cut & enjoy

Cut the pineapple into slices. Then trim away the skin from each slice and cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces. Enjoy immediately, and don't hesitate to eat the core if it's tender enough.

Very fine and fresh, but could have a bit more sweetness.
Very fine little pineapple. Really fresh and also immediately suitable for consumption. It still has a bit too much acidity for my taste and could use a bit more sweetness. That would then be the absolute optimum and you simply have to consider the transport distance. But it is still very good:)
Would definitely order them again.
