Slightly firm in the flesh. Creamy, slightly sweet and also salty, tastes very pleasant. We like the sapote lucuma even better, but this amarillo is also fine.

Exactly as described: creamy, yellow with an orange tint. I've eaten it for the first time. The taste is more reminiscent of lucuma than canistel (eggplant) and has a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Hence the name, I suppose. I will definitely buy it again.
