Fruit disconcerting by its very powerful and indescribable smell. The edible part is meaty. Our French palates are not used to these aromas. Hard to appreciate it.

The whole Durian was absolutely delicious. Jurassic Fruit is the only supplier to offer it in its entirety rather than in trays. And that's what makes all the difference because it stays much cooler when it's in its protective shell. Hopefully Jurassic Fruit will continue to offer it in its entirety.

We got to know the durian during our vacation in Indonesia. The fruit smells very unpleasant for some, while others barely notice the smell or not at all. Opening the fruit is a bit difficult. The flesh is creamy and sweet. We made a smoothie out of it this time. I would definitely recommend eating the durian fruit ice-cold. So if you can handle the smell, durian is a delicious and, above all, very healthy fruit.
