Mangosteen (The Queen Of Fruits)

One of Southeast Asia’s most prized fruits, still rare to find fresh in Europe.
Soft white segments with a smooth, sweet flavor and a light touch of acidity.
Easy to enjoy straight from the shell. Simply press or cut it open and eat the segments inside.
Best eaten fresh and slightly chilled. Store in the fridge and enjoy within a few days.

Sweet Granadilla (Sweetest Passionfruit)

A tropical fruit from South America, loved for its naturally sweet and refreshing flavor.
Aromatic jelly-like pulp with crunchy edible seeds and floral tropical notes.
Simply crack open and eat the pulp inside with a spoon. Best eaten fresh and slightly chilled.
Store in the fridge up to one week.

Rambutan

A tropical fruit from Southeast Asia, loved for its juicy sweetness and refreshing taste.
With floral notes and a medium-firm texture. Sweet and mild flavor.
Crack open or slice the skin at the middle, peel it open and eat the flesh inside. The seed is not edible. Best served slightly chilled.
Store in the fridge and enjoy within 3–5 days. You can enjoy it even when its hair turns dark.

Passion Fruit Yellow (Sweet Maracuja)

A tropical passion fruit, known for its intense aroma and vibrant flavor.
Juicy golden pulp with edible seeds and a sweet tropical taste.
Cut in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Wrinkled or smooth skin is completely normal. Best enjoyed fresh and chilled.
Store in the fridge and enjoy within up to 1 week.

Mango (Various Varieties)

One of the world’s most loved tropical fruit, grown across Asia, America and Africa.
Juicy flesh with rich tropical sweetness and a smooth, melting texture.
Slice along the flat seed, score the flesh in a grid and turn the skin outward to serve. Best enjoyed ripe and slightly chilled.
Store at room temperature until ripe, then keep in the fridge and enjoy within a few days.

Yellow Sweet Dragonfruit

A rare dragon fruit from South America, prized for its exceptional sweetness and refreshing character.
Juicy translucent flesh with tropical notes, crunchy edible seeds and a naturally hydrating texture.
Cut open and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. Best enjoyed fresh and chilled.
Store in the fridge up to one week.

Purple Passionfruit (Maracuja)

Tart & tangy; intense tropical-floral; more acidic than yellow; very aromatic.
Wrinkled or smooth skin is completely normal.
Cut in half and scoop out the pulp (seeds are edible) with a spoon. Best enjoyed fresh and chilled.
Store in the fridge and enjoy within up to 1 week.

Salak Honey (Snake Fruit)

A unique tropical fruit from Indonesia, recognized for its distinctive scaly skin and crisp bite.
Crunchy flesh with honey-like sweetness, apple-like notes and a slightly dry texture.
Peel the skin from the tip and eat the flesh inside. Seeds are not edible. Best enjoyed fresh.
Keep in the fridge and enjoy within around 4 days.

Young fresh coconut Pagode

A coconut prized for its sweet water, soft flesh, and refreshing taste.
Drink the coconut water first, then scoop out the tender flesh with a spoon. Best enjoyed chilled.
No machete needed. A sturdy knife is enough to pierce the softer top on the flat side.
Keeps for a few weeks unopened in the fridge.

Jackfruit

A giant tropical fruit with a dense, juicy flesh combining notes of mango, pineapple, and banana.
Sweet, aromatic, and surprisingly satisfying, jackfruit is one of the most unusual fruits to open and share.
Cut it open and pull apart the golden flesh pods inside. The large seeds are edible once cooked.
Best stored in the fridge and enjoyed within a few days once opened.

Papaya

A sweet tropical fruit with soft orange flesh and notes of melon, mango, and apricot, prized for its smooth texture and refreshing flavor.
Cut it in half, remove the black seeds, and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. You can even eat it with the seeds and skin, which add a peppery note.
Best enjoyed when the skin turns yellow and the fruit feels slightly soft to the touch.
Once ripe, it can be stored a few days in the fridge.

Sapote Mamey

Beneath its rough skin lies a creamy flesh with notes of chocolate flan or marzipan, which can range from orange to red or brown depending on the fruit.
It is ripe when slightly soft to the touch. Enjoy it with a spoon, much like an avocado.
It can generally be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Longkong (Duku Langsat)

Its small, juicy segments combine notes of honey, grapefruit and white grape.
It arrives ready to eat. Brown spots on the skin are completely normal.
Peel it like a lychee and bite into it, leaving the seeds aside, as they are bitter.
It can be stored in the refrigerator for around 4 days.

Barbary fig

Super refreshing and just sweet enough. Its flesh can be green, orange or red, depending on the variety.
Delivered ready to eat. Avoid touching the skin with your bare hands in case some of its tiny spines are still present.
Cut it in half and enjoy it with a small spoon, or peel it using a fork and a knife. The tiny seeds can be eaten along with the flesh.
Can be stored for 4-5 days in the fridge.

Chirimoya

A creamy tropical fruit with notes of banana, vanilla, and pear, definitely one of the finest natural desserts.
Cut it in half and eat the soft white flesh with a spoon. The black seeds are not edible and the skin can be eaten when it's tender enough.
Best enjoyed when slightly soft to the touch, and can be stored a few days in the fridge once ripe.

A good variety

Great new experience
As expected, the order for the discovery box arrived on time. The delivery date is specified, plus minus one day. It came to me a day later, but was also announced early on.
The fruit was well packaged and everything was fresh.
It was a really good experience to get to know completely different and interesting fruit. The well-known ones (mango, passion fruit red and passion fruit) were totally flavorful and super delicious. The unknown fruit was very exciting to try out with my girlfriends.
I would also like to positively emphasize that the attached note contains storage and consumption instructions.

A surprise waiting to be discovered. Even if there is something you already know, for the supermarkets in your city, it is worth trying the product purchased here because you will be surprised by a whole new texture and flavor.
The risk? I want to taste everything right away!
P.s. make sure to follow the instructions and that the fruit has reached full ripeness for an optimal experience. Eat it like this or try the many possible recipes.

Hmmm die Früchte sind sehr gut verpackt angekommen , keine war schlecht oder überlagert . Mein persönlichen Geschmack hat es teils getroffen . Die Kokosnuss war ein absoluter Traum ! Und solche Mangos bekommt man im Handel nicht, zumindest nicht bei uns. Jedoch finde ich den Preis wirklich zu viel, einmal zum probieren okay aber das das regelmäßig passieren wird leider nein 🤷‍♀️ daher ein Punkt Abzug wegen des Preises .

Wir verstehen natürlich, dass der Preis eine wichtige Rolle spielt und exotische Früchte nicht für jeden, regelmäßig den Weg in den Einkaufskorb finden. Viele der besonderen Sorten sind bereits im Einkauf und aufgrund nachhaltiger Anbaumethoden deutlich teurer als Früchte aus dem Supermarkt. Dazu kommen unter anderem der aufwendige Import und die sorgfältige Verpackung, damit die Früchte möglichst gut bei dir ankommen.
Wir freuen uns sehr, dass du unsere Früchte ausprobiert hast und wir dir damit die Möglichkeit geben konnten, einige besondere exotische Sorten kennenzulernen. Vielen Dank, dass du deine Erfahrungen mit uns geteilt hast.
