Durian Gradoom décortiqué

At first I was put off by the sharp, heavy smell, but found out you get used to it and up close it smells fresh and appetizing. Apparently, this is one of the smellier durians. You need a bit of willpower and then you discover how absolutely delicious it is! A complex mixture of sweet egg custard, caramelized onion and cornflakes being its main flavors. It resembles cheese cheetos! It also melts in the mouth like cream cheese; very rich and nutritious.

Now, I am in love with this fruit, there's nothing else like it and it deserves it's title. I would NOT recommend the Gradoom for beginners as it can be too much for many people. A beginner should start with a more delicate variety like a Kan Yao.

I'm also impressed with the packaging - very well protected, hygienic and kept cool. In early spring, it arrived very fresh.
