It is thick and mealy in the mouth, taste overwhelmingly sweet, otherwise very characterless. I had to overcome eating more than a spoonful of it. The kids, who love cookie dough, what this fruit is supposed to taste like, spit it out right away.

No addition to smoothies or shakes, all variations (banana, mango, coconut, almond, etc.) taste significantly better without them. Unfortunately a complete failure.

    Yum

The taste of pumpkin, or cooked squash surprised me, well, it was really good! We also talk about cooked egg yolk, yes does that make you think of it in texture, taste? Love that texture. You could think of a fatty fruit but that's not it. Almost no fat. When it's not quite ripe, it's a tiny bit astringent, bitter, but not annoying. And when it's really soft, ripe, it's divine, no bitterness. I just discovered it and it was great.

    Was okay

Unique fruit that tastes like sweet potatoes, chestnuts and shortbread. Great consistency Couldn't eat the whole fruit so that it is very grasping and filling. It was very good in curry or cake.

It is difficult to describe this fruit because the consistency of the flesh and the taste are very unusual. I eat the peel as I please, unfortunately I can't describe the taste as the fruit itself drowns it out. The flesh is rather floury, sticks a bit to my teeth and palate and my fingers are completely yellow after eating it. The taste is really difficult to describe as it is so unusual. Sweet, fruity but otherwise fruity. Tropically fruity and you always want more of it. The fruit size can vary between XXL eggs and small mango the size of the hand. After eating it, I'm full but I'm happy, I want more of it. The core peels off easily and is rather small in relation to the flesh. There is a lot of flesh on this fruit.
