I was delivered a 1.25 kg mango, hard as a rock. Still rock hard after 22 days of storage in the living room at the specified 22 degrees. Cut and tasted, unfortunately hard and tasteless down to the core. Complete disappointment.
In contrast, the 3 pieces were excellent after three days.

Thanks for your honest feedback! Yes, the Keitt mangoes can get really impressive in size, and I'm sorry that your mango still wasn't ripe after so long. With these large fruits, it can sometimes actually take a very long time before they are soft and aromatic. It's very rare that they take this long, but in the vast majority of cases it's worth just waiting, because that's when they're really delicious

Hi Bruno,

Thanks for your feedback. Indeed, the Keitt variety sometimes tends to take a little longer to reach optimal maturity, especially in winter. It ripens more slowly than other varieties
.
Unfortunately, Kent is less in season at the moment. Instead, I can recommend Edward mango and Ataulfo mango from Peru. They're both delicious and ripen faster than Keitt, so you can enjoy them more
quickly.
