Yacon

My husband's new favorite - simply peel, cut and eat, even with a little lime juice and chilli salt. They have a slightly sweet taste and a crunchy consistency, ideal as a snack or side dish.

Interesting “new” fruit with a tart, slightly sweet taste, easy to store and cleaned almost 100% net yield at a reasonable price. My top discovery for the tart enrichment of ripe fruit salads that are sometimes too sweet. Visually more inconspicuous like 'oblong black potatoes', therefore unsuitable as decoration. Great for 'mixing in. ' It should also be possible to prepare tart dishes; I only eat Jurassic fruit as raw food in fruit salads.
